The authorities terms and conditions on the approval for the construction of Rumah Dayak have long expired. The land is being caveated by the contractor, irrevocable in nature, God knows why?
Under “normal” circumstances the authorities have the right to take back the property. SDNU is now piloted by two strong PBB YBs. Definately they could pull strings. The government (if it wants to) could take back the land (irrespective of the irrevocable caveat) as the contractor and SDNU failed to complete the project within the stipulated period.
Once the dust has settled SDNU can register a company, say ABC Sdn Bhd, wholly owned (1% owned by nominee). The government can alienate (if it wants) the said land to ABC Sdn Bhd.
The rest is simple.
