It reminds us of the golden days in the early 70′s where for once our Sarawak Malay radio channel was an ever popular tuner to both teenagers and adults. A great wide varieties of popular songs, English, Hindi, Chinese, Malay, Japanese, were arranged and played in sequence on the air. That was the most amazing time that really contented everyone heart. Many thanks to the lady, Noraini Zulkifli if I’m not wrong.

Today the atmosphere is totally different. Not the natural air is polluted. What we heard on the air could at certain time terribly polluted. How the spirit of unity among Sarawakians got vanished? Why polluting the Barat policy and culture into State?

RFS in many ways assisted the fellow Sarawakians in the remote interior regions to tap both the local and national news. 50+ years had gone and what sort of telecommunication networks had been installed for the interior villagers to allow them an easier access to media network. At least RFS helps to make and bring our rural folks closer to the outside world through the SW Band transistor set. So why so skeptical over this 3 hours of broadcast in contrast with the Ipod and helicopter. Scare to face the Truth?
