In its insincere motive, EC must serve its political obnoxious masters, the BN-without which, Najib would be in hiding today. In my opinion, GE12 was rigged to ensure victory by BN. Democracy, i its true sense, means election must be conducted equitably to reflect the choice of the majority. Whereas, Malaysia’s interpretation of democracy takes an entire different meaning, where, among other things, corruption is not illegal. Unless, EC functions independently, with the presence of a non-biased observers, GE13 will just be a repeat of GE12. BERSIH 3.0 serves to make the public aware of the injustice going on with EC’s dirty tactics. It is the spirit of nationalism that will eventually triumph
