Exactly, ASTRO should practise a truth disclosure policy when it chooses to air an edited version. Then customers who pay to receive the news can take it with an element of judgement.
Most businesses in Malaysia have it so good because you can always make a lot of noise and govt agencies will treat you like a king and listen to do your bidding including asking for a tax policy to be reversed that they may continue making good profits- like the prepaid Telecom operators and there are many others who act selfishly for individual interests, If self representation or individual’s noise doesnt get heard, easy just take it to some business organisations even jointly set up govt-private organisations who can make it heard up to the highest level and your problem is solved.
As for the simple guy-individual or businessman who obligingly follows every law or regulation enacted, so sorry he is just a dumb fool. This is where consumer groups and Govt Agencies who have been entrusted to take care of the public good fail in their duty. Just see where the Malaysian Competitive Corp (MYCC) is heading.
