I totally agree with Baru Bian. What has Petronas been doing all these years if not extracting oil from our two countries, Sabah and Sarawak? They then add insult to injury by building the Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur! What good are these towers to the people of Sarawak and Sabah? To gawp at them we have to fly to KL, which is not cheap, if gawping at tall buildings is your favourite pastime! Speaking for Sarawak, with our timber and oil wealth we should by now have spanking new shcools and state of the art hospitals. People living in the rural areas, too, should by now have good schools and medical care, and roads linking their kampongs/longhouses to urban areas. But the BN government has been neglecting us. The people have also themselves to blame by voitng in this government; however, thanks to the Opposition they have made people politically aware and I do hope that the next GE will bring about a change.
