This is indeed another sad episode for Danau Melikin. In the last Sarawak state election they are the very people that stopped and chased away PKR people and it’s supporters. I was told the original and very first settlers of the nearby villages and the surrounding Balai Ringin the like of kpg Sungai Jagu can create quite a stir and can claim that it’s theirs..because they also know this disputed ‘NCR’ land and they can tell you what they know and remember many that resides in Balai Ringin today are Ibans from the second division – . Ask around maybe it will be a good idea.
