The present administration is crazy to the highest level. Remember the failed underground cable project to send electricity from Bakun to West Malaysia. A dozen more dams the dimension of Bakun is upcoming. Do you think SCORE will eat up all the electricity generated by the dams? I had the opportunity of working in the central region of Sarawak – the centrifugal of the SCORE and was surprised that so much is mentioned abour the “anak mas” project called SCORE but on the ground the Malay proverb INDAH KHABAR DARI RUPA is the gospel truth in the much touted coastal towns of Balingian, Mukah, Oya, Dalat, Igan, Matu, Daro, Tanjung Manis and Belawai. There are hundreds of longhouses along Selangau-Mukah road devoid of electricity, piped water and just mentioned it. Are we out of our mind constructing dams, dams and dams?
