Rural voters , be they Iban, Orang Ulu, Melanau or Bidayuh, have matured politically and know the folly of not voting or voting a corrupted government in exchange for development or handouts. Many have realised that is is the BN government which has been grabbing their NCR lands, uprooting and misplacing them and marginalised the community.
