Sarawak’s population is about 2 1/2 million, a very small workforce ( and many left for very lucrative pay) . With 12 dams coming up Sarawak will be a behemoth industrial hub. Many from Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh and China will inhabit Sarawak. They will become the majority in Sarawak. What will happen if there are more foreigners than locals? The state cabinet must sit down and do more soul searching.
