Rio Tinto Alcan, being part of an international mining conglomerate and known to be a responsible corporate player should stop all forms of negotiation with Taib’s owned Salco. By buying a stake or taking over Salco, Rio Tinto Alcan is committing a blatant crime by collaborating with a highly corrupted regime to exploit the people of Sarawak for business gains.
All right thinking Sarawakians from both political divides should stage a strong protest over the deal which benefited solely Taib himself and family.. The paramount thief minister will not want to own any assets in Malaysia and Sarawak in particular if Pakatan Rakyat were to take over Putrajaya. The thief minister merely wanted to use state assets to create value in whatever mega projects under SCORE to be resold to foreign investors and pocketed all the cash and flee from arrest and prosecution.
